OmegaBlue announces an enhancement to the document editing features within SkyWriter^®. This new enhancement allows writers to work simultaneously on separate Tasks or Figures within the same AMM or AIPC. With this new locking feature, writers can be assured by knowing that changes made will not be overwritten by other writers working on the same document.

OmegaBlue proudly introduces the new iWiN (I Want, I Need) Module. This enhancement is designed to help technical publications teams with project management and planning efforts. The iWiN Module includes our Job Tracker customizable reporting feature. With this feature, users can choose from over 50 job and production-related database attributes to create their own customized reports.

In order to help improve efficiency, OmegaBlue developers have implemented a feature that allows writers to dynamically construct a document's glossary. SkyWriter^® scans the entire document content and automatically generates the list of abbreviations and acronyms using pre-defined common and customer-defined keywords. The implementation of this feature has proven to significantly reduce authoring time.

OmegaBlue announces the implementation of the Boeing content standard. With this enhancement, authors now have the ability to dynamically produce regulated content when preparing AMM and AIPC publications based on Boeing business rules for SGML and PDF.
